Indianapolis
We analyze your water, recommend the right system for your home and budget, and install it with care. You get one written price up front, and no pressure. Just better water from every tap.
Most Indianapolis tap water comes from rivers. It's hard from the limestone underneath, treated with chloramine to keep it safe, and sometimes tastes earthy when the reservoirs bloom. It's safe to drink, but we can make it better.
Under Indianapolis sits 400-million-year-old limestone. Your water picks it up on the way to you, about 19 grains per gallon on average. That white crust on your faucet and dishes can also build up inside your water heater, dishwasher, and washer.
Citizens adds ammonia to its chlorine so it lasts longer in the pipes. It keeps the water safe on its trip to you, but most people would rather not drink it. A carbon filter reduces the chloramine that gets into your home.
Some summers, algae in the reservoirs give the water an earthy, musty taste. Geist did it in July 2025. It's safe, but it doesn't taste like it. A carbon filter clears it up.
About Indy Water Filtration • Close to home
Indy Water Filtration works with households across Indianapolis on the water that comes out of their taps. Some want the scale gone from the shower glass, some want a better glass of water from the kitchen, and some are on a well and want to know where to begin. We look at where your water comes from and what you are noticing, then suggest softening, carbon filtration, reverse osmosis, well treatment or a mix of them. You get a plain answer and a system sized to your house.

We make the process easy from start to finish. First, we review your water concerns, then recommend the right solution, and finally install your system with care so you can enjoy better water with confidence.
We discuss your home's water source, concerns, and goals to better understand what type of filtration or treatment solution may be right for you.
Our team explains your options clearly, answers your questions, and recommends a system based on your water needs, home setup, and budget.
Once you choose the right solution, we install your system with care, test performance, and make sure you understand how your new water treatment system works.

Homes on a well get their own sizing and their own price.

This is one example setup. Yours gets sized once the assessment is done.
Don't see yours? Add it to your assessment request and we will answer it on the call.
We give you a call and talk through your water together. By the end you know which system we would fit and what it costs. The assessment itself is free.
The written price is the one you pay. If something about your house would change it, we tell you before any work begins.
At the spot where your water line comes in. That is often the basement, a utility room or the garage.
Floor space for the tanks, and enough room above to lift the cabinet lid and reach the bypass.
Keep the cabinet topped up. The setup notes explain it, and that is really all there is.
It does, sized another way. A private well shifts over the year, so it is set up differently from city water. We do both.
The quieter part of the list
Often noticeable in a glass.
Harder to pick out.
No taste to go on.
So the assessment begins with the report your utility puts out on Indianapolis water, rather than a hunch.
We ask for your name, phone and email. We cover the rest on a short call.
